Tudor Caravan Park - Directions
Tudor Caravan Park is one of the best located caravan & campsites in Gloucestershire. A quiet country caravan site right alongside the Gloucester-Sharpness canal, an easy 5 minute walk from the world famous Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust Centre at Slimbridge.
We are well signposted from the A38. The easiest way to find us from any direction is to just follow the big brown signs for 'Slimbridge Wetlands Centre'
- Follow the M4, at Junction 20 take the M5;
- M5 Junction 13 or 14 follow the signs to the 'WWT Wetlands Centre, Slimbridge';
- Turn off A38 at Slimbridge roundabout, go through main village (avoid school opening & closing - see below);
- After 1.5 miles turn left after Tudor Arms Pub into carpark, 30 yards before canal bridge.
Arrival time is 12:00 noon onwards;
St. John's Road by Slimbridge School can be very busy between 2:45pm & 3:15pm when children are finishing school - we suggest you delay your arrival to avoid the school end of day;
Departure time is 11am;
When leaving us, we suggest you avoid St. John's Road in the half hour between 8:30 & 9:00 when Slimbridge School can be very busy as children are arriving for school;
Remember you are in a country area - please be careful when passing horses;
Beware SatNavs will send you the wrong way!
When you are safely on the A38, switch your SatNav off and follow the signs for 'Slimbridge Wetlands Centre' and 'Tudor Caravan Park'.
