Slimbridge Wetlands Centre is just 800 yards down the road from Tudor Caravan Park. The centre was started by Sir Peter Scott and is hailed as the birthplace of modern conservation.

Less than 5 miles from Tudor Caravan Park - the centrepiece of Berkeley is undoubtedly the magnificent 12th century Berkeley Castle with its dark and brooding bloodstained history. It is also the place where a humble village doctor made an amazing medical discovery.

The Severn Bore is one of Britain's few truly spectacular natural phenomena. It is a large surge wave that can be seen in the estuary of the River Severn, where the tidal range is the 2nd highest in the world.

Tudor Caravan Park is on National Cycle Route 41 and close to the proposed Route 45. We are also on the new 180-mile 7-day Cotswolds Circular Cycling Route which covers approximately 30 miles each day, allowing you to experience pretty towns and villages and stunning scenery.

Black Shed Cafe - Now Open

We are delighted to inform all our customers that the popular 'Black Shed', Slimbridge Boat Station, has now re-opened for business under new management. Services include cafe, shop, newspapers, and more to come - watch this space.

David Bellamy Gold Award 2017/18

Yet again, we are proud to announce that Professor David Bellamy has awarded Tudor Caravan Park with the top award - Gold.
We are also are officially a 'Honey Bee Friendly' park again, and this year with the emphasis on bio-diversity, we are recipient of the '5-in-5' Award highlighting our hedges and the work we're doing to enhance them for wildlife.
The David Bellamy Conservation Award Scheme is one of the longest running green tourism awards in the UK and we have won Gold every year since it's inception.
